What's on your mind?Archive

Jonsi&Alex are adorable together! Not only are they an awesome couple, and exceptionally creative and talented on the music and visual arts front, (check out Riceboy Sleeps!) but they’ve found another home to express their insightful lifestyle passions and skills > in the ‘green kitchen’ finding yet ANOTHER way to inspire and push the boundaries of the culinary world also. I remember a time when I thought that ‘Veganism’ was a far out concept, (even as a vegetarian) until I was able to build a body around the backbone of what it truly means to be one - in my understanding, anyway, which is much more than just a ‘hippy’ stance. While I’m not a complete Raw Vegan, I can totally appreciate the mind, soul and heart behind it as well as the nutritious advantages (and impressive food knowledge!) and am so excited to incorporate these nammie-nammie recipes into my diet. Haha, I don’t know if it’s the good food I’m attracted to, or the fun behind it!.. wait, it’s both.. it’s totally both - and that’s the ‘backbone’ I was referring to :)

Here is a link to Jonsi&Alex’s Recipe book titled Good Heart which is all hand written and illustrated by the pair, made for their loved ones as a homemade Christmas gift - How lovely! Enjoy, peaches!
